How Music Helps Me on a Daily Basis


        Music has always been my companion. Whenever I'm feeling down, I just open my playlist and let it take my mind somewhere else. Music helps me to silence everything around me. The noises, hateful comments, and unnecessary drama, I was able to block those by putting a pair of earphones and blasting my volume. I wasn't much of a talker; I was always viewed as quiet and mysterious. And so, every time I go out, music has been my only escape to avoid loneliness in this so loud yet empty world.


        This is what my playlist looks like. Songs are separated depending on what my mood is. Happy, sad, confident, in love, etc. Some are even combined because there are so many emotions that we can feel in just a day. At least, music is there to help me cope with it.


        It even helped me to discover that I can play musical instruments such as guitar and piano. Because I have this thing where I often feel bored. The feeling of wanting to seek more or learn something new. And so far, music never failed to satisfy my boredom. I can produce notes using my fingers, I can sing whatever I want and pair it with acoustic strumming, I can learn musical piece and impress others...


        See? Music is more than just sounds; it can be anything. A lot more than you can imagine.
